Pulse Technology is an Irish owned company that provides a range of quality software solutions and consultancy for the hotel industry. Our products are designed specifically with two goals in mind – firstly, to enhance and extend the functionality of existing hotel software such as those provided by Micros and secondly to address the particular areas where no adequate solution exists.
Our aim is to enable our customers to maximise the efficiency of their current systems and day to day procedures. We understand that every hotel has individual needs and our solutions are designed to be flexible and capable enough to meet these requirements. We are committed to improving our customers’ profitability and operational efficiencies.
Niall O’Meara, who has over 16 years experience in the software development industry, founded Pulse Technology in 2001. He has provided consultancy services to a variety of companies, which include AIB, Irish Life and IBM.
‘In 2005 I decided to concentrate on providing IT consultancy to the Hotel Industry. During this period I encountered the limitations of existing hotel software and realised that simple effective supplementary software could be developed to meet these shortfalls. As a result of this I decided to re-focus the company towards designing and developing software to provide solutions to satisfy these requirements’. (Niall O’Meara, MD, Pulse Technology)
In addition to the solutions the company provides, we also take great pride in our customer support. We consider it a hallmark of our service that a major emphasis is placed on providing a personalised quality level of support to all our clients, which is unsurpassed in the sector’.
Pulse Technology is supported by Enterprise Ireland and is one of 16 companies selected out of 80 applications for the ‘Hothouse’ Enterprise Platform Program. Hothouse, as featured recently on RTE’s Prime Time program, is administered by the Dublin Institute of Technology and is co-funded by the Department of Education and Science and Enterprise Ireland.
