Your New Role
You will be responsible for researching and identifying new business opportunities and contacting potential clients to arrange initial calls, meetings and system demonstrations.
You will build a good rapport with all contacts and pursue every opportunity to secure new service agreements for Rate Wise.
This role is available to an experienced business development professional who may wish to work part-time hours. The successful candidate will be able to choose from a variety of workplace options – fully remote, fully office based or a hybrid option.

Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in a sales role is a must (minimum 3 years)
- Hugely beneficial if they had a sales background in hospitality software
- Experience with hotels or hospitality clients beneficial
- A self-starter who is able to manage their time and work to deadlines
- Comfortable working on multiple projects at the same time
- Target driven individual
- Good attention to detail
- Can work on their own initiative
- Excellent organisation and communication skills and a strong ability to manage relationships
- The ability to write quality website & email marketing copy
- Experience with social media management
- Full clean driver’s license is beneficial as traveling will be required

Principle Accountabilities
New Business
- To reach agreed sales targets, as set out in the budget
- To identify potential clients and establish communication with decision makers in these businesses
- To follow up on sales leads, carry out demonstrations, issue proposals and follow up to secure new contracts in a timely and professional manner
- To assist in the on-boarding process of new clients to ensure a smooth rollout and if required a handover to the relevant revenue account manager or client support team member.
Client Retention
- To maintain regular contact with existing clients via phone, in person and email marketing
- To increase revenue from each client account by upselling new tools with any development roll out
Brand Awareness
- To liaise with the digital marketing team in regard to keeping website content up to date including blogs
- To update Rate Wise social media platforms with relevant, targeted content
- To book stands and attend the relevant trade shows, networking events and industry briefings to help increase awareness of Rate Wise in the market place
General
- To provide a weekly activity and sales report to the Rate Wise Business Manager.
- To log all sales activity in the CRM ensuring an accurate and effective customer database is consistently maintained
