Our brief has always been to ensure we maximise the ADR on every room sold, which would in turn drive rev par. This could be easily achieved however we had to also keep an eye on the cost of doing business and reduce commission where possible.
Working closely with the team, each week we review revenue on the books & the pace of the pickup. We benchmark the business on the books against the budget, last year’s performance and the forecast.
To help drive the business forward we review each market segment and put a strategy in place to shift business from one segment to another where we are receiving a higher yield & a lower cost of doing business.
