An Overview
Ocean Sands Hotel is a family-friendly 3-star hotel offering guests superb cuisine in Dunes Dining Room and Ocean Bar & Restaurant. The hotel is located in the beautiful seaside town of Enniscrone in Sligo on the doorstep of the Wild Atlantic Way.
Ocean Sands offers bright, comfortable and spacious bedrooms and has a number of self-catering apartments available for larger groups or longer stays.

The Brief
We began working with Ocean Sands in the Summer of 2018 having been recommended to the Hotel by the Digital Marketing Agency, Sprint Digital.
The property was performing well however the team were looking for greater insight into maximising their room revenue and increasing their room sales through their own website.
The Process
To begin with we had weekly calls with the team at the property to familiarise ourselves with their strategies, processes and the systems they had in place.
One of our first steps was to review their brand website and help them streamline their package offerings and their set up, as well as their room type offerings. We then helped to implement a rate yielding structure to improve the hotels overall sales and revenue performance.
Team calls now occur once a month between the team in the Hotel, Sprint Digital and Rate Wise. After we complete an analysis of the hotel’s performance, we put new strategies and goals in place for the following month. These meetings increase efficiency, and we are all aligned with a common goal. Working closely with the digital agency, Sprint Digital, allows tasks to be signed off and executed quickly, meaning Ocean Sands Hotel has rapidly improved their performance overall and the performance on their Brand Website continues to grow.
