Roganstown Golf & Country Club is a 4 star, family run hotel in Swords, close to Dublin Airport. Offering a Leisure Centre, Spa & Golf Course coupled with its location it is an ideal location for corporate & leisure guests. The country house hotel is also a very popular wedding destination.

The Brief

Ian McGuinness the proprietor and manager of the property is highly experienced, having a background in software he is very knowledgeable about systems and set up, our expertise was required to implement the strategy & to oversee the yield management strategy.

We were on hand to advise and implement the integration of the PMS and Channel Manager and also Rate Wise yield management software, linking all of the tools together to create a seamless system, which updates with ‘one click of a button’.

We have worked closely with this hotel to implement a rate strategy and give guidance to team members.  

The Process

Together with the team we have agreed on a Rate Strategy for each market segment.
On an ongoing basis we review revenue on the books and the pace of the pickup, we then benchmark business on the books against the budget, last year’s performance and the forecast.

We have a strategy in place to drive direct bookings to the properties own website and to ensure we are reducing commission costs.
