The Rate Wise team are delighted to announce the appointment of our new Business Development Manager, Liz Daly.
Liz has been a member of the team since 2016, providing invaluable revenue management advice and guidance to hotels. Her progression to Business Development Manager is an exciting challenge for her, and one we know she will excel in.
Liz has been involved in and working with hotels since the beginning of her career. She started in the Osprey Hotel in Naas and worked for 12 years in a hands-on role in both the Reception and Reservation teams cementing a firm knowledge of the inner working of complicated hotel software systems.
Liz has a strong revenue background, having spent 4 years in the Revenue Management Role in the Osprey Hotel before moving to Trinity Hospitality where she has spent the last 3 years in a group capacity as a revenue management assistant supporting hotels and serviced apartments.
A WEALTH OF KNOWLEDGE
Liz brings with her a wealth of knowledge from her years of experience, including an in-depth working knowledge of a number of PMS’ including Opera, Hotsoft, Brilliant, Protel and Picasso. She has experience in revenue management for a variety of property types in very diverse locations, from city centre to coastal. In her 3 years as Group Cluster Manager, she has managed properties with an array of amenities, star-ratings, room types and a huge range of packages from room only to full spa packages. As well as experience with the properties themselves, Liz has experience with of several channel managers including Siteminder, RoomCloud and Yield Planet.
THE NEW ROLE
Liz has been a hugely active member of the Rate Wise team for over three years, using the system on a daily basis, she knows the ins and outs of it. Her appointment to Business Development Manager is a natural progression from her current role and one she is very excited about. In the new role, Liz can look forward to helping Ratewise grow our overall sales, our customer base and ultimately bringing Ratewise to its full business potential. As part of her role, Liz will help Ratewise attract new clients while maintaining existing customer relationships. She will demonstrate the benefits of using the Rate Wise software to prospective clients and she will ensure a smooth and seamless on-boarding and training process for new hotels. She will also travel to numerous trade shows around the country, promoting Ratewise products and services to potential clients and securing new business.
